MGI has continually been at the forefront in the latest technology advances from pre-press through post-production including electronic proofreading and digital video inspection. We specialize in top-quality printing and folding of folded leaflets (also known as Outserts and Inserts) as well as high quality labels.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Safely, efficiently and effectively monitor assigned production machinery
equipment monitoring quality, production and waste adhering to all customer
specifications.
• Observe and adhere to all safety guidelines
• Perform routine scheduled quality checks and document production and quality levels.
• Monitor all quality requirements as outlined by company procedure and specification.
• Effectively observe and judge that quality levels are maintained and notify Management if quality levels are not achieved.
• Ensure product produced meets the quality requirements as defined by Customer Specifications
• Perform Video Inspection Review of all printed product.
• Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have:
• Ability to Multi task in a high volume environment.
• A self motivated attitude.
• Experience inspecting Flexo printed labels a plus.
• Experience on video inspection system is required.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with others.
Several evening positions available. Must have the ability to train on days.
